Hi, I’m Sabine
I’m a Wanneroo local who attended Wanneroo Secondary College, played netball at the Wanneroo Districts Netball Association and raised my three daughters in our amazing community. Before being elected in 2017, I was a primary school teacher for 27 years, most recently coordinating and teaching the Primary Extension and Challenge (PEAC) classes in the North Metropolitan Area. I was also a City of Wanneroo Councillor between 2013 and 2017.
I am honoured and grateful for the opportunity to represent my community in the State Parliament. I am passionate about working with the local community to address their concerns and priorities.
As a Minister in the Cook Labor Government, I work hard to deliver positive outcomes for some of our State's most vulnerable people. I am proud to serve as the Minister for Child Protection; Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence; Community Services and in the new portfolio of Early Childhood Education.
I host a number of local community functions and I look forward to meeting you sometime in the near future. Please follow me on Facebook to find out about the latest events happening in your community. Additionally, my office is conveniently located at Wanneroo Central and you are more than welcome to pop in to say hello.
If I can provide you with any further assistance, information, or you have feedback about the State Government, please do not hesitate to contact me on 9405 1244 or at Sabine.Winton.MLA@mp.wa.gov.au.
